What to Eat Before Training

Plan meals around moderate or intense exercise. Plan a snack or meal 1 to 2 hours before you exericse. Eat a higher carbohydrate meal very soon after exercise. Eat protein after you workout. Snacks: string cheese with a 8 ounce yogurt or 1/2 a banana with a teaspoon of peanut butter or 1/2 cup of strawberries with a handful of almonds are a few snack ideals.
